Here's a slide show set to an original piece of music I wrote this morning. As I was playing this piece, it felt hopeful and called to mind the sunrise, so I named it "Morning Glory".
The last image in the video is from my wedding. In my life, the image of my wife's hand interlocked with mine in this way is the ultimate symbol of a new day dawning: a sign of hope and love.
The audio on this video was recorded live in one take. I prefer to record this way. While there may be flaws, it just feels real to me. Hope you like it.
First of all, wayf, I want to thank-you for bringing the beauty of nature to me. Your song was peaceful and very comforting. Also, the picture at the end of you and Mrs. W. with your hands bound together was beautiful. It reminds me of the Celtic tradition....called 'hand fasting" where a hand from the man and a hand from the woman are tied together, symbolizing unity and devotion. Absolutely beautiful, wayf.

Wayf, I truly enjoyed this piece, it is well named. Morning Glory. By the way, the way you think, symbolically and idealistically. I too can relate, there is nothing better than the interlocking of lives within our hands. I will never tire of holding my husbands hand so intimately. Peace Wayf.

I hope it is one we never lose Wayf, I too need to have that closeness and am grateful to know I am the only one (besides our children) privvy to it. Oneness is lost on those that give themselves to too many.
Trying to learn the guitar at age 71. A long and sometimes discouraging process. Seeing stuff like this is a shot in the arm. Or is it a pick in the hand.
