Stream of Consciousness

 Jesse & Skeeter's Fall/Winter Fashion Show
Back to Full Blog

As cold weather draws near here at the Hovel, thoughts instantly shift to warmer clothing. The resident Pugs, being the fashion plates they are, require only the best in Puggy Winter apparel, so that they might make a good impression on all the cute little Pugettes around the block. Jesse and Skeeter have asked me if they may use “Stream of Consciousness” to display their latest Winter finery for your approval. When I declined and told them to use their own blog, they threatened to hike their legs on my guitar, so I acquiesced.

So, without any further ado, I present you with Jesse W. & Skeeter W. Pug’s Fall/Winter Fashion Preview!!!!

Looking quite dapper in his "close cut" jacket, Jesse is sure to be a hit with all the cool pooches at the local park!

Here, we see Skeeter modeling his "Sherlock Holmes" look. He seems ready for a tough case to crack!!!!

Come on, guys and take a final pose for the camer... Jesse! Skeeter! C'mon guys, stop wrestling and pose for the... Oh! Forget it!

peace, wayf

We have had two pugs in oir life - one was astray - we called her Precious. The second was a pup when we got her - the runt we were told. She was tiny and full of energy!!!! We lived in a townhouse and I said I think she skied down the stairs without ever touching the steps. WE gor another puppy to keep her company after out kitty died and she literally took the puppy to task all the time. A family was looking for a little pup for their girls who fell in love with her - Frisky was her name- and they love her to pieces - not literally, but you know what I mean. Enjoy your pugs and may they kep you warm and cozy in the winter! June

Hi, June!

There is one thing we can say for sure, there's never a dull moment when you're in the presence of Pugs.

Mrs. w got Jesse when he was a pup, and we got Skeeter just last spring from a couple who couldn't care for him properly anymore. He was sort of a "rescue" dog, in a sense.

I have told Mrs. w that I don't want anything other than a Pug from now on. They are natural comedians, and I love to laugh

Hey, Daisy,

Ain't they just the handsomest fellows you've seen in awhile?

BTW, the outfits were handmade by Mrs. w herself!

I am a Cherokee. I only have one fourth in me, so I cannot be on the National roster, but that doesn't mean I am less to my people. I visited my people and they said I am one of them, "It is a matter of the Heart!" Not the blood. Well, then I am a full-blooded Cherokee. Praise the Great Spirit! Mighty Father God/Jesus.

I am starting a journal on my blog Heaven's Gate and I probably put it in the wrong place, still I believe the Great Spirit wanted it there for a reason. I put it in Business. My blog is called "Heaven's Gate."

Hi, purple,

Schnauzers are cool dogs. My step sister used to have four or five of them; all different ages.

Thanks!

Hi, Miss Lou,

Mrs. w made these using a pattern she bought at a crafts store.

Also, they sell them at Petsmart, but they can be pretty expensive.

I just love those pugs! and the jackets are so very cute. Becareful they don't blend too well into the fall foliage, tho, and you lose them!

They look like they could even handle our New Zealand 'spring' (aka: lesser winter), Way.

Heather,

I don't think it would be possible to lose them. The whimpering from being seperated from me and Mrs. w would serve as a homing device .
